This is our attempt at doing a Mad look at the movies, which was a popular section in MAD magazine which used to spoof famous TV shows and films using detailed illustration. For the Zoomers among you, MAD magazine was only the biggest ever magazine which combined, comics, absurd humor and satire together.
Harsho Mohan Chattoraj, an experienced artist himself wanted to try that and our good friend Angshuman suggested that we do it together, as MAD fanatics, we were more than happy – all we had to do was find a simple people pandering original TV series we could make fun of – and there it was – TVF with its brand new series – Panchayat.
so here it is – a BAKARMAX look at Panchayat!
