2D ANIMATION STUDIO VENDORS

We are an Animation and Comics studio. We create original content, which is published on our social media and website. One of our own ideas—Zindagi CGHS—has been greenlit for a pilot! It’s a mass-market Hindi animated sitcom for grown-ups.

Other than this, we are working on our Kickstarter series Aapki Poojita, making monthly sketches (like SNL, but with more existential dread), and doing client work.

We’re looking for a 2D Animation Studio to be our long term production partner who can come in after the animatic stage of our projects. Someone who can enable us to produce multiple shows, features and shorts!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Take full ownership of animation production, after the animatic stage – with us providing character design, storyboards, animatics, voice over, sound design. 
2. Lead the process from rough animation to final output.
3. We are method agnostic – all we care about is top quality final output.
4. Ensure timely delivery of sequences.
5. A team that understands collaboration—we need partners, not just vendors.
6. Communication is key – Your studio can catch fire. But if we know it has, in time, we can come with our pen drive and quickly take all our files home. Also, Dial 112.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

1. A well-established production pipeline using Adobe Flash/Animate.
2. Basic understanding of rigged animation and the symbol method. Our ICON METHODTM method is a mix of drawing and rigging using symbolse
3. In our world, there is no animation without drawing. You need to know it.
4. Communication – No problem is big enough to lead to a breakdown. Always communicate. We are your peers. We understand.
5. An equally humble team of weirdos!

WE OFFER:

1. We use one vendor for one domain, if it works out, you get all our work. 
2. Opportunity to work with one of India’s best animators – Vivekananda Roy Ghatak. Check out the title sequence he directed for Amazon Prime’s DUPAHIYA and his short film De-De.
3. Advance is issued to all our vendors – ranging from 10-50%
4. Full and final payments are done within 30 days of the date of invoicing. We don’t delay payments.
5. Credit – We give credit wherever we can.
6. We involve our vendors on our original and experimental self funded projects.
7. You’ll be part of the Bakarmax artist network—cartoonists, writers, animators, the whole gang.
