3D ANIMATION STUDIO VENDORS

INVOLVEMENT: Contractual / Trusted vendor needed

DURATION:  Ongoing

We are an Animation and Comics studio. We create original content, which is published on our social media and website. One of our own ideas—Zindagi CGHS—has been greenlit for a pilot! It’s a mass-market Hindi animated sitcom for grown-ups.

Other than this, we are working on our Kickstarter series Aapki Poojita, making monthly sketches (like SNL, but with more existential dread), and doing client work.

We’re looking for a 3D Animation Studio to be our long term production partner. Some of the clients we have worked with on 3D projects are – BookMyShow, Maxxis Tyres and even a smartphone game called Econagri.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. End-to-end delivery of all 3D projects – animatic/storyboard onwards.
2. Provide a complete 3D production pipeline—modeling, rigging, texturing—so our animators have everything they need.
3. All things beyond 3D aspects – we will provide support and collaboration
4. Ensure timely delivery. 
5. A team that understands collaboration—we need partners, not just vendors.
6. Communication is key – Your studio can catch fire. But if we know it has, in time, we can come with our pen drive and quickly take all our files home. Also, Dial 112.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

1. An existing team of modelers, riggers, and texture artists with a strong workflow.
2. Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software (Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, etc.).
3. Experience with stylized and toon-shaded assets that complement 2D animation.
4. Communication – No problem is big enough to lead to a breakdown. Always communicate. We are your peers. We understand.
5. An equally humble team of weirdos!

WE OFFER:

1. We use one vendor for one domain, if it works out, you get all our work.
2. Opportunity to work with one of India’s best animators – Vivekananda Roy Ghatak. Check out the title sequence he directed for Amazon Prime’s DUPAHIYA and his short film De-De. 
3. Advance is issued to all our vendors – ranging from 10-50%
4. Full and final payments are done within 30 days of the date of invoicing. We don’t delay payments.
5. Credit – We give credit wherever we can.
6. 3D more and more – We are eager to use 3D in our original and experimental self funded projects. You will be a part of it.
7. You’ll be part of the Bakarmax artist network—cartoonists, writers, animators, the whole gang.
