Kaamwali is the most interesting character in Indian society. No one matters so much but is depicted so little in mass media. Its also a women majority profession. Their bosses, more often than not, are women. And yet they exist in this venn where people complaining about their own jobs are terrible bosses to them. Kaamwalis should actually dominate the meaning and definition of WORKING WOMEN.

What I hate is that upper class english speaking people like us have now started making fun of them. Either see the TVF gully boy spoof or this K3G spoof. There was the BIGROCK ad too. And don’t even mention the Kaamwali stand up comic without reading the comic. Kaamwali is the butt of all jokes, pun intended. Rudest of them is the Zomato ad though. Look at the spite in that Upper-class heroine’s face as she asks the maid to take 30 days ki chutti. GAWD.

This is my tiny revenge against all of us.
