The concept of using shoes with springs under them was inspired by the spring-related questions from the Class 11 Physics books. I once came up with the question of how powerful springs do we have to attach under our shoes to jump from a 10 storey building? Although I had calculated an answer back then, I have forgotten what it was.
The drawings were all made on paper. They were first drawn in rough with a pencil, then traced with a market and then the pencil lines were erased. Then the pages were scanned to put them on the digital platform.
After that, the panels were put in GIMP and then given a threshold to reduce them to black lines on white background, without any of the paper texture which came in the scan. And then finally I coloured the panels
