I first heard of the Chaar Ram theory from Adhiraj Singh in Shillong on Christmas eve. Adhiraj told me that his grandfather had told him this story. I was awestruck, more because it made sense – from Mughals, to my own family to Gangs of Wasseypur, this works in one way or the other.
Some weeks later, I called his grandfather and he narrated this story, as he had told Adhiraj long back. He ended the story the same way this comic ends. by telling which Ram he is.

Didn’t quite work with some of the richest and illustrious families in the world – Rothschilds etc. I can see it happening with the Mallyas, and hopefully one day with the Gandhis
