This comic has been a long time coming and is a culmination of so many stories, people.

Ghoomantar Yantra is a time machine which is now floating between different timelines. From time to time people find it and press it to find themselves in strange timelines, which have something to do with their past.

Vishal’s story is real, you can ask him here. In fact, his family still holds on to  Lala Lajpat Rai’s walking stick. It says “Lala Lajpat Rai, Public Pleader”

First time I put the idea on paper was when I created this piece of concept art. Since then I’ve been spending lot of time writing the origin story, which by the way, is written. Even chatted with TIFR researchers to understand it. That will be out soon.

This comic is also dynamic, and uses technology as part of the narrative, but not as a gimmick (motion comics) but as a real tool. I like that. Special thanks to Anas Abbasi, who coded this and also Denny George (Standup comic and NYU student) who suggested the idea in the first place.
