Almost 2 years ago my phone rang. It was a Bangalore number. I picked up the call expecting some call center. But this call would change my and my little cartoon book’s life.
“Hello, I am a filmmaker. My name is Nagesh Kukunoor. I’ve made films like…”
Who does not know Nagesh Kukunoor? And since that day it has been a whirlwind of work and emotions. The non-disclosure agreement was so strongly enforced that I had to stop myself from uttering even a word of it.
We did our test screening today and everyone has come out laughing and crying. The cast is certain someone who you have seen on youtube a lot. We’ll get a release date soon. I can’t say anything more without getting myself sued.
I can just say this – THE ITCH YOU CAN’T SCRATCH has been adapted into a film by Nagesh Kukunoor!!!!😀 ♥
Nagesh says hi. Officially he says “This is a coming of age film that India needs and deserves.”
